We have great weather here in Görlitz! :-D I took advantage of that to take pictures of my hometown. I promised my mentor in Poland, Justyna, to give her some:
Ich habe mein Zimmer aufgeräumt und viele polnische Münzen in allen möglichen (und unmöglichen...) Ecken gefunden. Die polnische Währung ist der Zloty. Ein Złoty (gesprochen: swoti) sind 100 Groszy (gespr.: grosche). Der Umtauschkurs liegt bei ungefähr 3,94 Złoty für einen Euro. "Złoty" ist übrigens eigentlich ein Adjektiv und bedeutet "golden" :-). Auf der Rückseite sieht man auf allen Münzen den polnischen Adler - "orzeł".
I cleaned my room and found a lot of Polish coins in all nooks and crannies. The Polish currency is the Zloty. One Złoty (spoken: swotee) makes 100 Groszy (spoken: groshee). The exchange rate right now is about 3.94 Złoty for a Euro. By the way, "Złoty" is actually an adjective and means "golden" :-). On the back-side of every coin you can see the Polish eagle - "orzeł".
Und morgen gehts dann auf nach Legnica, ich bin aufgeregt! Aber vorher ist Packen angesagt, Jippieh...
